Vitamin C
This antioxidant, also known as ascorbic acid, is a derivative of glucose metabolism necessary for the synthesis of collagen fibers. At high concentrations, it can remain on the skin for up to four days, although it should be noted that the higher the concentration, the greater the irritant power, so caution should be exercised by users with more sensitive skin. Its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity has a protective function against sun damage.
